How you put the silencer on/off? Is it just a compression fitting?
Looks good though, what's next?

yeah just a compression. 2 regulators one for air and one for propane and a onboard air suply is next (boyo)

Hey very nice job there spanerman ! i'm impressed. I'm currently planning on re building one and yours makes me happy as I see someone doing something great
Do you have an idea of either muzzle velocities and kinetic energy of a regular projectile?

well i only realy use spuds.....but im pretty sure at 6x they are supersonic.....
and SB15, thanks for the tip with grinding down the union taper!! works a treat with an oring, but where did you get your washer from?

Woaw....reminds me of the old times when people who stated that they sent supersonic projectile weren't considered seriously...Now, while not pretty current, it is know to everyone that it is possible and pretty easy for someone who has a minimum experience in spudding...
How ever, the only projectile i'm sending at supersonic speeds are pepper grains from my air rifle. not chronied, but tjeoriticaly, a 0.04 grams pepper grain in a 10 joules carbine should exit at nearly 700 m/s....hehe makes a loud crack.

minimum experience
i have been spudding for close to 18months now with alot of copper and steel cannons to my name.........

oh it wasn't an insult or anything don't worry, it was more an general statement
I am certainly not doubting your spudding skills trust me! (i've been spuding for close to 5 years now...)

The silencer makes me laugh, on the end of that extremely long barrel.
In fact it almost made my day, just the funniness of it.
But it's awesome. It's inspired my design for a hybrid i have going once I've finally finished my piston gun.
Happy SPuddin'

I don't even want to imagine the condition of your piston seal

that must have had some power

how much did the marble weigh? and what did you use to make the chamber it looks like steel or iron?
