Pursuit situations often result in death as the driver exceeds his abilities in an attempt to escape. There are plenty of dashcam videos of these events ending in tragedy.

Dam that guy flew about as far as I did, looks like we were going about the same speed. Took about a minute to find him, the cop was rounding up broken off car parts when they found my broken ass.
I wonder if that cop put out spike strips to stop the runner? And caused the wreck, it is no accident when it's a chase...
And just so you'll know I don't blame the police in these cases, it's in the line of duty and best stopped as soon as possible as to not involve people/victims!

Can't say I approve as it looks like they don't care too much about the possibility of being hit by a car and this is filmed where I live.
Edit: Oh and that's PVC pipe on the tyres.
