AFAIK, gun control is federal. No differences among states. It may seem like it though, because some people flaunt it, while some states just don't have a pro-gun culture.

Haha finally, got it working (thanks PS). We had to invent something for a class I got assigned to in my school. Believe it or not this was not the most expensive project in the class
