Were you the one who had embedded a piece of molten something in your lens

That was over before I could blink! (No, you are NOT allowed to say 'That's what SHE said!')
Bit unlucky for him, but he should have been a bit more careful...

Tech's right, I spent about $260USD all up for my Casio Exilim FC100 and the 8gb class 10 SDHC memory card. I don't regret the purchase at all and so far the camera has been good to me.

Yeah, the consumer HS camera market is really very limited... You have a few choices, but they're few and far between.

Even with shipping, the total is 97.49, so it is cheaper than the Ebay one, plus that listing ended...

On that happy (cheap) note, My EX-F1 is now on sale. It has been checked out by an authorized repair center in Hong Kong and they found it to be in perfect working order. There is a tiny little scuff on the outside part of the flash (visible with flash closed), and the whole camera has a weird bubbly finish on it. I'm not sure if that's normal, but hey. I can upload pics somewhere if you want.
Asking price is $1,300 plus shipping, since it has bee discontinued, is effectively refurbished, and has been discontinued for some reason. I can list it on ebay, but all the fees are a pain. Continental US only; I don't like customs. I will accept (reasonable) offers. This is currently the cheapest from a reputable source (if you trust me) on the internet.*
The lens, screen and EVF are all flawless. I will include a camera bag, original box, all past and present shipping documents, cords, neck-strap, lens cover, and other various nick-knacks. I can include 2 8gb SDHC cards, but they are almost too slow for the camera despite the class 6 labeling. Apparently micro-center re-branded class 4 cards as class 6.
I'm not quite sure how this forum handles sale, but there is no specific forum for it, so this seems like a nifty place to put it.

Well, I've bought myself an EX-FH100, and my emails tell me it should arrive tomorrow.
While I could've got the FC100 cheaper, it was easier to justify the FH100 as fulfilling enough of my criteria for a photo camera upgrade (wide angle lens, reasonable low light performance and MOAR ZOOM!) to also serve that role. The extra 480p120 video mode didn't hurt the debate either.
Expect to see an assortment of test videos in the next couple of days, although they're unlikely to be cannon based just yet - most of my launchers are in various states of disassembly right now.
