Milk works great for copper. I gave up and used water because I almost puked at the smell of it when it cooked.

I don't mean to be insensitive, but damn...
Imagine if we had a list for our hobby similar to that:
John Smith
Date: XXXX
Cannon Fataility
Nationality: XXXX
Object Type: Cannon
Location: XXXX
COD: Cannon failure

Description: Used PVC for a 12x hybrid chamber; probably shouldn't have done that. Warning - Don't use PVC as hybrid chamber material.

I was turning copper, it wasn't such a good experience i got it done with mineral oil, tried milk but it leaves a dingy smell.

Can we? Can we huh? :D

I cannot think of a single spudgun related fatality which happened to a member of this forum, clearly throwing yourself off the edge of a cliff is a little more dangerous with less margin for error.

We'd be better off with a similar list for garage doors as opposed to people ;)

I like it! Though we should generalize to "Unwanted casualties of expensive non-target materials"

There should, though, be such a list for chronographs...

Even I had forgotten about that one
It was scrap and was going to be chucked out so maybe it shouldn't count? :P
