Yea, Christchurch based.
Brought it for $750.00 (Trade Me), came with a set of lathe cutters, 4 jaw chuck and a few other tools.

What kind of guns are you looking to make with it; pneumatic, hybrid, small bore?

i mean the ones that JSR recommends for semi-auto

wyz reported leaks at higher (300 ps) pressures. You can get 3000 psi rated paintball slide valves though.

Yes, I think it was a good buy.
It was in Dunedin and the guy brought it up to Christchurch for free:)

So far I have used the lathe to try and make a pulse valve and have milled a block of Aluminium, learning as I go.

Electronics dunce here, just wondering if attempting this "simple" chronograph would be "biting off more than I can chew" with very little electronics experience, but lots of patience

hello fellow spudfilers, i know that delrin will seal at high pressures but will nylon seal as a hammer valve seal at 1000 psi

if your sealing faces are completely flat and smooth it should work well!

Yes, you can buy a clip on chronograph for about the price as you can make that though....

Don´t buy it! I bought it, it does work, but really really unreliable.
I used a 6mm airsoft bb fired with a 1/4 qev at 100 psi, the muzzle blast(witch probably doesn´t exist) block the sensores almost every time. So it doesn´t work for blowback airsoft guns or homemade ones, only aeg.

Lapping the sealing faces would be even better, but I don't know how well that works on PA.
Some good lathe work will get you quite far I think.
