With adequate protection, you can put the camera right where the action is experiment with settings for 210, 420 and 1000 fps, depending on the situation.

Not really, the cameras that do that are usually running 10,000 fps or more.

This is pretty much the best you can hope for with largish relatively low speed (this was probably 250-300 feet per second) projectiles.
