Sweet, what camera? And can we expect anything projectile related soon?

I also played around with the oil in orange parings and a candle, but never had this large flames... cool footage definitely!
I find it very interesting how much
grime/smut/unburned carbon (don't know the proper english word...)
is produced by that very little amount of oil.

What you're burning is orange oil, pretty much pure orange flavor.

All of the above, actually. Grime could refer to other kinda of black dirt, but works here.

FS-10
I don't know about projectile stuff. Maybe something within the next couple months but nothing too powerful. Probably some smallish semi/full auto stuff if I had to take a guess.

@vincenzo: The ninja-ish video is actually pretty cool!
I love the facial expression! :angry5: lol!
I really like the changing recording speed!
Did you film it completely in High Speed and changed it later at your PC?

Very ADRIIIAAANNNN!!! lol

You can switch between 30 and 210 frames per second in one of the modes, I have some similar stuff of ice-skating in red square which I might post later.

Thanks nature-boy

I was just the camera man. My friend was the ninja 8) You probably won't see me in any of my videos because I don't trust anyone with my camera. Nobody respects my stuff...

But oddly enough, the kid knifing the citrus also happens to have the same camera as me, the EX-FS10, which was used in unison with mine in the
watermelon video. We got to get two speeds of video without having to drop two watermelons, so that was cool.
And Jack is right; the camera can change from 30-210 fps in mid-video. It makes the video look really cool.
Here's a pretty cool video, took a 2" piston valve cannon to the lake and shot blanks into the water. Some interesting things I noticed though:
-The delay between the pilot exhaust and the chamber exhaust (seen in third clip), and
-The flex at the chamber/valve connection (seen in the 4th clip IIRC)
And about the recoil, the shooter was not pushed that far back from the recoil... he was just pulling away from the splash to keep the cannon from getting too wet.

Shame on me that I didn't know about this option (changing speeds while filming) before, because I got a FH-100 for christmas...
But I got the camera not until today, so I couldn't test very much.
My FH-100 has the options "30-120" and "30-240", has yours (fs-10) just "30-210" ?
ah, btw, here is my firt try: (done with this
fellow)

Yes, 30-210 is the only option. I was not aware of the 30-420 (I'm guessing you mean 420 not 240?) function on the FC-100.
I'm guessing the second clip was in 1000 fps? Your editer kinda messed it up

Still cool video though.

No, the F
H-100 is 30fps, 120 fps (at 640x480), 240 fps (as opposed to 210 fps, but at a slightly reduced resolution of 448x336), 420 fps and 1000 fps.
And there are 30-120 and 30-240 fps settings.
However, I don't recommend these settings except for certain things. It's easier to film at the full frame rate, then use an editor to speed sections back up again (as I did
here - you can see the flicker on the digital clock in the background changing), because then you can be sure you don't miss the section you want in slow-mo.
You don't get any sound, but it's easy enough to take a separate sound recording and combine the two if you need it.
As an addendum to what I said in an earlier post, you
can change digital zoom while filming. But you shouldn't, because rather than using the camera's extra resolution to avoid losses, it just scales the output video (and poorly), because it was programmed by a total numpty.
EDIT: Loosely inspired by MrC's contest video, I have recently been filming entirely mundane things in slow motion, then layering powerful soundtracks over the top. The results of this are hilarious, and include "Dog eats dinner - EPIC VERSION" and "Taking out the garbage - AWESOME EDITION"
There is also "Ragnarok headbanging", but that was just an excuse to put my long hair to use and is even more ridiculous.

I actually find that the biggest flaw on the FH-100, that you can't use the optical zoom while filming.
I wondered if that is a software or a hardware related problem, that some cameras just can't do that. Does anybody know?
What software did you use for speeding the video up again, Ragnarok?
speaking of flaws, I brought my camera back to the shop today, because I noticed a ccd- error, a dark dot which showed up on every picture. They didn't have it in stock, so they ordered one, so I will have to wait a few days again to play around with it...
