A vortex would be amazing but I really don't think there is a place where I could use it. The only places where I can fly are my school's fields, and the official flying site in the video posted. I would probably get kicked out of both the minute anyone heard the BRAAAAAP of a bbmg. The crappy crossman gun would be far less intimidating and dangerous.

If I ever get around to making a quad, it would be able to maneuver in areas the size of my local air-soft field. Then, the fun could begin But for now, tis just dream

When we say 1x, we mean enough fuel to combust with the oxygen available in the air, which is typically around 20%. In the case of propane, you would add about 4% fuel.

In a hybrid, all you're doing is adding more air and therefore more oxygen. In a 2x mix, you're doubled the amount of air in the chamber, so twice as much oxygen is available, so you can use twice the fuel.

If you have oxygen available though, you could purge the chamber with oxygen - now instead of the 20% you would have with air, you now have 100% oxygen - so you can add more fuel, without needing to pressurise.

All this is quite dangerous though, so I wouldn't recommend it, at all.

Often overlooked in figuring this mix would be 5X the energy, the fact the 1X gas contains ~80% inert gas to be heated, buffering the burn rate. Without the buffer gas, the result is is very explosive and therefore very dangerous. It is no longer just a 5X high powered burn, but a detonation.

I had a demonstration showing this with paper. We have all seen paper burn. We have seen the examples of a burning split of wood is put in a test tube of Oxygen. A pre-mixed fuel, Oxygen mixture is often explosive. A small (postage stamp size) piece of paper will explode when soaked in liquid Oxygen and then hit with a hammer. It was not what I expected.

Do not use Oxygen in spudding. It is very dangerous.

Can't remember if I posted this or not... Made this a few months ago, managed to get lasers to make different shapes from the vibrations of a subwoofer. Its bad quality, I'm remaking them now to be a bit more responsive and clear, but its pretty cool.
