Macs are NOT virus free. They just have less written for them than Windows-based computers. Not to say they're less secure because Mac OS is more secure, but if more people wrote viruses (I hate using that grammatically incorrect term!) for Macs, you'd definitely know about it.

Macs are pretty much the choice for those in the publishing or marketing business, but I definitely wouldn't recommend them for a whole lot of other things in the work place. We only have about 400 Macs or so in our company, and yep, they're in the Marketing division.

I have never said either one is better. PC's are simply better suited to my purposes. If you like mac's, go for it, whatever trips yur trigger.

mac commercials rule!!!!!! pc commercials are horrible they are all like "buy a pc and get vista for even more money blah blah blah burb" atleast mac commercials have a sense of humor ( sometimes) and a sense of reality. and its better for the business

Also if Macs are so great why do the use windows Word, excell, Power point, ect...

Exactly. Some people prefer Macs, others prefer PCs. If someone prefers a PC, don't shove Mac propaganda down their throats if they don't wanna listen. And vice versa.

Commercials... Gah. it's a very rare moment that a commercial entertaind me. The most recent one being the taco mayo hippity hoppity astronaut commercial. before that it was the two guyts arguing about their cell phones and the one guy said mine has a theft deterrant

ugh, im going to hate myself for getting into this. macs are virtually virus free, there are literally 7 viruses for the mac, most of which you have to manually download and install. there is no spyware for the mac. im not saying macs are immune, but there are almost no viruses due to paaiyan's reason.

whatever you do, dont even start me on the "pc came out with everything first" discussion. i hate it, soo stupid.

and technically, in the early days, the supreme court did declare PC the better computer, but that involves the above discussion and as afore mentioned im not going into that.
