Sounds like a pretty good deal. Is the bike snappy, or fairly smooth?

Well its not like a real sportsbike, but yes its quite snappy in my opinion. 36kw of power is not much but power/weight ratio is quite nice. o problem getting pass 150km/h :D

Even my 125 is snappy enough that the cops didn´t like me on the road :D court is at wednesday :D

Like I said, I effectively can't ride  I can stay upright, but that's the extent of my skills. I reckon I might have a few spills with that amount of grunt in a bike.

I'd really like to get a 125, but I will never fit on most, and I can't find the GS125s on the bike sales sites.

I bet you can fit the 125, its quite low (my legs had some problem and they didn't grow the 15 cm they were supposed to, so i really look like a big midget) so its impossible for me to ride an enduro bike. So 125 and 500 GS were perfect choice for me. But i have seen full grown men with nice beer-stomachs riding them :D Including my father! And in your case, the 4 stroke 125cc Suzuki would be just perfect for your skills! Yes, you can get it go snappy, but that reguires some EPIC clutch skills :D 125 is the easiest bike i have ever ridden, and im not the only one that says that

On the other hand, i was thinking of making a electric hand warmer for my Gf, she is the freezing-type :D Checked Makemagazines "personal pocket heater" on youtube and there Kipkay used about 10 meters of wire with 2x AA batterys and got about 48 degrees in celcius. I believe the 48-50 celsius would be good, but i would like to case it on metal rectangular tube for even heat distribution and just for the epicness of it. Only problem i see is that when i do that it will take ALOT longer to heat the metal to the temperature. So, if i used more wire + more voltage and current, am i able to get it heated faster?

I can just about clear the seat on a YZ450, and I'm 193cm tall. I'll ask at the local bike shop anyway, see if they've got one around. Still really tempted by this DT, I can take it everywhere I want to go on a bike (To a mate's place, then off shooting), and best of all, it's cheap.

If you just use 4 AA batteries instead, that should work well enough. Current through the wire will double, and so will the potential heat. But I recommend a mini fox terrier myself, far more fun.

Yeah, to be honest i would have wanted a Dt-x 125, cause i live in the middle of a forrest, but i just cant reach to the ground, and that sucks...

I´m in a sentry gun project right now.
Got a problem, the servos don´t move
Not sure if are that servos are damaged or not, so I'd like to know if there are anyway to test them just with batteries to see if they move?
Thanks

You need a PWM circuit. Simplest is a 555 circuit.
Google: servo tester circuit

Thought that might be interesting if you hadn't seen it. The software is free/open source in case you just wanted to make the body, without programming it.

Anyone watch homeland? I'm starting to really hate it now (pretty much have all season). At least with the show 24, everything moved so fast there was suspension of disbelief.

Spoilers:

Did they have a suitcase nuke in that thing or what haha. Thought you'd need like an Oklahoma bombing sized truck to do that kind of damage. also, no external security checking at a vice presidents funeral for cars being loaded with explosives and parked out front at the steps to a building. No President in attendance? They didn't bother checking Carrie's or Brody's phone for activity or location? Didn't see if her car was still there. Didn't check building CCTV? Didn't ask where she had been since the bombing after not being in contact for hours. The whole plan relied on Brody becoming a double agent and confessing to the Feds? None of the survivors saw Brody or Carrie leave before the bomb?
