Could BC arms contribute to the prize fund?

"Maybe something like, most wicked looking cannon? I don't know..."
Lol my copper ball valve cannon looks pretty wicked but won't win since it uses a ball valve....
It can put a nail through 660 pages of a phonebook.

I'd be willing to make a couple steel spudcutters and donate them to the cause. If someone would donate money for materials and/or shipping, that'd be awesome.
(As a note, I'm too busy with AP English homework to make them if you just want a set. Sorry, but this is a one-time deal to the winner of any contest we may hold.)

Here is an idea for PCGuy:
Why don't we hold a video competition for the coolest display of cannons in action for each class.Combustion pneumatic, etc.
Then at the end of the competition the winning videos are clipped and compiled for a commercial that spudfiles can air on youtube or what not.
This would solve the problem of PR issues with other non spudders as well as provide a competition for the spudding community. If enough traffic comes along PCGuy will have his issue of advertising sorted out.
Of course in the posting of these videos, safety should be of the utmost concern,we want this to look like a group of intelligent hobbyists and not a bunch of teenagers lacking in common sense.
So what do you all think?

Videos would be nice, but people are quite likely to still vote for either cool-looking or power.
However, it would be nice to get a little bit of a spudfiles video collection going - may be even kick up the old idea of "Mythspudders" that I know was knocking around here a month or so back.

I would like to see that - giving spudders a
carte blanche on what to build sets no limit on the imagination, but perhaps if given a specific task, people would be more driven if heading towards an achievable goal.
An example off the top of my head, who can build the most powerful launcher that will fit into an A4 box file, or who can get the most destruction from a BBMG with a specific chamber size and pressure. This would inspire folks to not only make things that work, but that work
well.
Whatever happened to the issues we discussed
here?

It's an idea I'd like to see happen, but like anything it'll need a few people to get behind it.
In the style of the "Spudfiles Challenges", videos could be gathered on a certain subject, then compiled down into one video on a specific subject, be that a "Task" or a "Myth".
Innovation and development is needed - we see a lot of nice stuff, but it's not new nice stuff. I'd love to make my auto combustion plans available to help that, but I first want to build them myself - There's less of a prize for being 2nd place in a race.
BTW, I grabbed the name "Mythspudders" on Youtube in a pre-emptive strike.

I'd be willing to donate a few bucks for prize money, because I'm going back to work in a week or two.
As far as the competition itself, I always like innovation. Of course, that was sort of the category last time, so I don't know how that idea will fair up here.
