Sweet gun you got there mate. 8) I am working on something like that too
But i am not as experienced in spudgun building. I would like to know how to build a good working silencer. Can you explain??

I just realized something, Bit late though but is that a custom blowgun or is one that has been sawed in half. and once again it is beautiful and scary in its simplicity.

P.S If you would still like input on your piston woes I have an idea you might want to look at.

Cheers for the comment JJ Pryo. I've never built a silencer to be honest so I wouldn't have a clue. Just do a bit of loooking on here. There is some good info.

Seudo411, it's a store bought blowgun but I heavily modded it to make it comfier and have a hell of alot more flow.

JJ Pyro - You can find a suitable coupling that has threading on one end and a horse tail coupling on the other side that has a external diameter that is less than the internal diameter of said tube and fill it with epoxy.

Mitcha - If your piston is perfectly centered you can use a solid epoxy piston, and on the sealing side, using a router make a circular groove that is at least
10mm wide, and 5mm deep, then fill this groove with silicone sealant, remember to sand the barrel smooth and even. This results in a minimalist style sealing face that is very effective in theory, In Practice it might differ.

Thats a good idea mate. I'll have to give that a try.

JJ Pyro What valve are you going to be using, If you are going to be using a coaxial setup i suggest a steel pipe threaded at both ends that is twice your barrel diameter and no less than half the length. I unfortunately have no experience with anything other than metal. I think thats the little voice in my head that keeps me alive, I do suggest you try and keep the amount of parts to your pressure vessel as low as possible, try a fire extinguisher, why?? It has a high pressure rating, and precut threads.

Well lads, I just had a good shoot off with the gun this weekend with my mate. at 150psi, I can easily shoot a plastic bb through one side and just about out the other side of a deoderant can at 4m. It makes short work of cans and milk bottles too .

Thanks alot mate . Hmmm I wonder if the "Poor man's Chrono" idea works for 8mm bb's. I reckon it won't be spot on but pretty close. My GGDT results for this gun at 150psi are

Muzzle Energy: 6.5ft*lb
Muzzle Velocity: 869fps

I reckon thats a bit too optomistic though .

How far can you shoot it?
