There definitely is a lot to be learnt from your work, I regularly link to it when hammer valves are mentioned :) what Labtecpower meant was that it's annoying and indeed against most forum policies when someone drags up an old thread without actually contributing anything useful.

That was what I wanted to say :D

You have made very nice hammer valves. Are you going to build something new in a while?

Hey Jack, great to hear of you:) I have been of the site for a while yeah.
I understand what Labtecpower meant now.

@Labtecpower:
Lately I have been inspired by the tippmann x7 phenom, it works like a automag but then it has less moving parts and is coaxial which makes it easier to manufacture. I will post about this in a new topic when I have time. Its not like it is revolutionary and its similar to Jack's valves. For me the question is, how can I make something that fires auto or semi with standardized parts. At the moment I am looking for O-rings with a thread'' thickness of 1mm (which they don't sell in the Dutch construction shops). Can anybody advise me how to get specific orings for a low price? I have tried with this company technirub, but I have to pay 10euro for each oring type.. I need about 3to4 different types:P Once I can get these specific orings I can make a tippmann x7 phenom style valve using the same piping I have used in the past, no milling required:)

Ja ik ben ook een Dutchman:)

Initially I am looking for 2 types of orings:
10mm outer dia, 1mm thread dia
8mm outer dia, 1 mm thread dia

In the shop they only sell 1,75 or 2,4thick thread orings.
I experimented with Orings and found out you can costumize your own orings by cutting one and glueing it back with a smallers radius. Rapid second glue did the job. So the conclusion is that I just need 1mm thread dia orings or pref a higher outer dia such that I can customize ehm.

Find the" O-ring size #" on the chart in the link. I have a Parker store nearby that carries them. Even large rings are usually no more than $0.30 ea. Give me a size # and I'll check.

If I need a specific O-ring, wich are impossible to get in the Netherlands, can I ask you? Of course you will get money for it. Here I bought the O-rings for my QDV for 5 euros each. That's $7.

Sure, but I can't imagine why some orings can't be obtained everywhere on earth.

Why so much? Are they considered "Contraband"?......They're just O-rings?!

The hardware stores don't have any O-rings, and the webshops only want to sell them to companies, and if you found one selling O-rings to individuals, they want to sell about 25, and they want >10€ to put them in an envelope, so two O-rings will cost you at least 22 euros.

Those are quite a rare size, small wall thickness for the diameter. I can understand you struggling to find them, you probably won't find anything like that in a set like JSR posted.
However you can get those exact sizes here, paypal accepted and not completely unreasonable postage.

Excuse my Dutch boys.

Brezan is 5 min. fietsen :)

Laatst ben ik bij de Hornbach geweest, maar ik had niet de tijd om daar naar O-ringetjes te zoeken.
