kk thats what i thought but i wasn't sure how long i would have to make it (the chamber) for it to work good. i still want it to be a 1 handed wepon so i can pump it with the other hand. anyone got a clue?
It's pretty much just the longer=better for a chamber, just remember to keep your C:B ratio in check when calculating. Also, the same goes for a barrel but only to a certain extent, at a certain point (assuming a fixed chamber volume) there are no advantages to increasing the the length of the barrel. So my advice; just cut your chamber to a size you feel comfortable holding and cut the barrel to fit.

ya thats what i was planing but since the barrel is such a small diameter would i have to make it stick out more than 1 or 2 inhes out of the chamber???
Edit: and will the mini bike pump be able to get it to 50 psi???
Edit: also it's not posible to make a mag for a co-axial right?

Not that i am aware of...there have been coaxials that have virtually nothing sticking out of the chamber and others that have more than 2 feet
EDIT: the C:B ratio is a bit flexible so, you could make it fit with quite a large tolerance~5in maybe? not sure

A word of advice. Don't ever call any spudgun a weapon - that gets you into big legal messes. Weapon suggests it is intended for causing injury to people or animals, and it's not a good habit to be in to link a recreational item with such things.spudy buddy wrote:i still want it to be a 1 handed wepon so i can pump it with the other hand.
I prefer to not even call it a gun (also big legal messes in the UK), sticking to launcher, cannon or spudgun.
Depending on where you are, "gun" might be fine, but anywhere in the world calling it a "weapon" is asking for trouble.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

kk i don't plan on having more than 1 or 2 inches sticking out
For some reason the word 'gun' scares me more than weapon...at least i have a chance of it being a knife or something right?Ragnarok wrote:A word of advice. Just call it a "launcher"
What defines an object as a weapon is not its characteristics but the manner in which it is used - a pencil or bicycle chain for example aren't objects that you would normally call "weapons", unless they are used to attack someone.

ok it was just an idea. most people somehow keep the bbs from falling out of the barrel anyone know how?
The original topic of this post was sealing faces, so I thought I would slip in a question. My piston has a diameter of 2" and it is sealing against a piece of 1.5" pipe. Is the difference between the O.D. of 1.5" (Which is 1.900") and the piston enough to open the valve?
