The o-ring on that cleanout plug (not cap, as a cap is a female fitting by definition) is there for a reason - it's meant to be pressed against the outside of the threaded coupling to create a good seal. That's why cleanouts have so few threads, because they use an o-ring. If you can't tighten the plug far enough to press the o-ring against the coupling by hand, you either have a screwed up threaded coupling, or a bad plug.

Dude! Read all of the posts instead of just a few! Deadeye and myself have both offered you ideas for a wrench! Stop asking the same question over and over. I do not mean to be so harsh but you are be so repetitive.

Well deadeye explained it pretty well. But i will still give you a diagram. Also wha i had suggested was a bike intertube wrapped around it.

Just cut this out of a two by for and there you have it. Make the squared part however big your little twisty thing is.

You are the hardest person i have ever met to help. You ask for help and then when it is offered you completely ignore it if it isnt EXACTLY what you need. Try to improvise. Its not hard. Ive given you more than enough to make a wrench.

If you did everything properly and as the tutorials on this site specify, it will be fine. Which is to say it will probably explode very, very soon. When it does, I dearly hope that you're using oxy/acetylene and aiming at your gonads, because people like you just piss me off.
What's wrong with just using a normal pipe wrench to turn the cap? Considering that they're designed for things like that, you'd think they'd be the logical choice.

maybe you could invest in another cannon body. i would because where i live i could make the body for about 3 bucks not including the sparker.
