where and how much does a burst disck cost ?

The burst disk its self is just some aluminum sheet or tinfoil folded repeatedly. This info can be found when you type it into this magical button called ... search.sorry but you`ll never learn if your spoon fed.

here`s some combustion using burst disks.

Why not finish something you start...tonight? Save your pic as a JPG file and simply use the "add attachment" feature at the bottom of the "post a reply" page. You really just follow your nose the whole way through.

I agree with starman, about 2 seconds of independent thinking will get you far, and it is a pretty mindless task, especially after all the info you have already been given.

If you are unable to figure that simple task for yourself, then I really do not think you should have anything to do with something as complex as a potato gun.

Erm... I would think that "burst disk" would make it obvious to you what it does...it bursts with higher pressures?

What you drew just then was a pay and spray with a fan.

It may be best to build a higher performance gun before moving onto a hybrid..

Combustion using banjo camlocks as burst disk couplers...

Example of a big bore hybrid, notice it uses SCHEDULE 80 PRESSURE RATED PIPE

Direct propane metering..

Chamber fan installation...

And again, the burst disks..

My design of a coaxial piston hybrid (micro..)

Fnord's piston hybrid

Now dear god.... Look up what you want to do and research it before trying to make a spray and pray hybrid..

Hey If you would have read the whole message inonickname you would have seen that Im no longer building a hybrid.

And how is that gun that I drew a spray and pray ? its a propane metered advanced gun. There is no aerosol involved and it would be metered so that you know what the proper fuel to air ratio is.

Tell me how Im wrong on this one ? really

jmeyer showed me this, but I guess from what you are stating his golf ball gun is also spray and pray ?

Not trying to be rude but some times some of you guys dont make sence

Good drawing now that you have you dimensions for your gun plug them into the fuel tool, I linked you and get your ratios and fueling down and show us what it tells you so we can critique you and let you know what you've done right/wrong and need to improve on, glad to see your finally doing stuff on your own.

How do you plan on putting your burst disk in? Union, Cam locks, pass through with tape?

well you still haven't supplied the effort we hoped for, really look up wht a burst disk is, and i really dont see why you want from us, this is a fairly simple gun, just go ahead and build.

Ok I will look in to the fuel ratios thing and I will also look look up the fuel ratio thing

Rob, Stop being rude to people here,

You are new, they are giving you valid advice, so just because you do not understand it, do not react with insults and attitude. You are already not well liked among the community, and I am pretty sure that goes for pretty much anyone who was following this thread.

You need to listen, and do some research on your own, because you are being an ass.

Build the gun, its simple enough, because now your just making everyone mad and doing nothing of value.

If i may add the that, I think that little people will continue to help you until you come up with either a gun which is finished or something that is either concrete or worthy of our time. At times i wish we had slightly more roguesci rules, because in that case none of us would need to waste our valuable time on you.
I hope the next time i hear from you, you will supply some sort of gun or concrete plans which are truely worth of our time, maybe you will finally understand...
