Flipping awersome!

Very good work man! It's neet that you can see the ammo loading, that's a nice touch.

thx for posting a close up ot the tee... it looks so cool
though it's a shame that it doesn't feed reliably... tighter tolerances might help but I suppose that there has to be a strong spring in the magazine

13 ftd/lbs, thats 1 ft/lb more than what for an airgun in the UK legally makes it a firearm, and on full auto! Excellent work mate
Those are the sort of power levels I'm after, hope the HPA tank doesn't disappoint. We'll see.
Thanks, I am still hoping to get more
HPA, i'm sure you will get some good performance out of it.
I actually want to hire a bottle of helium to test mine, seeing as I am using a modified helium bottle regulator on my fire extinguisher tank. Running the Popoff at 35bar with helium might yield some very interesting results, GGDT says around 650fps and a little under 40f/lbs
For my next project I want to halve the size of the system and machine my own QEV, Tee and mag out of a single block of polycarbonate, then mount it to a my R/C aircraft
BTB, yeah I know it was pretty dodgy the first clip, lots of doubles and triples. Once I add a proper ammo stop and add a light spring to the mag it should perfect the system (fingers crossed)

I never said it was dodgy...
Even if it was...a '69 Charger happens to be my all time favourite car..
I just said I loved the vids!!
I hope you can stop the double feeds. It seems like an excellent gun..

I know you didn't say that, I was just saying I think having it feed like it dose is a bit dodgy.

Any idea where to get a BB size sprinkler valve?

A sprinkler valve is not a sensitive as a QEV, so it may not work, I might give it a try just to test it, I have a sprinkler valve mounted to an air chamber for my golf ball gun. i'll stick a popoff in the pilot chamber and see how it goes.

I want to see that... I'm glad I joined this forum when all these new ideas and cannons are being produced.

why does it have to be a bb size when you can go marbles or golf balls heck why not tennis balls.

Well there really is no limit, It just depends on the supply of compressed gas and budget. Get a big enough air supply and you could launch bowling balls on full auto

Well i did some more long range testing today with the new ammo stops, and the feed is greatly improved. I did not get any double feeds at all, but still have the occasional misfire due to the ammo jumping in the mag (still have not put a spring in it) I was firing at a range of 50m (165ft) and was pretty happy with the accuracy. If the gun was solidly mounted it would have a grouping within about a 60cm (2ft) at that range.
I did some damage tests on some 1/2 ply and 1.5mm steel plate on the bottom of an airconditioning unit. both the damage tests were done from a range of 20m (65ft) Most of the rounds in the ply made it about halfway through, with about two making it most of the way through. the steel plate was deformed about 2mm at each point of impact, with some very good mushrooming of the rounds that hit
Here is the video of of some of the testing the last few days, including view from the firing point and at the targets

Here are the rounds before and after impacting the steel plate
Before
After
I am going to remake the gun now with a long spring loaded mag parallel to the barrel with a capacity of approximately 80rounds. Will also include a proper trigger and give it an ergonomic style, and some built in suppresion

Nice! It seems like the stops really helped feeding.

Chances are I missed it, but where do you get those lead balls, I have considered molding them, thats how desperate I am, as a packet of 50g of fishing shots is well over 10$ here and if you consider that the size I use is between 1-2g per shot, it sums up very quickly...
