Again, beautiful.
If I could make an aesthetic suggestion, paint the steel parts black, polish the brass and copper and add some kind of wooden grip to cover the handle-

In what ways does this valve outperform a QEV? I would have thought a commercial QEV would perform better because it has been professionally designed, etc. I'm just asking because I'm still waiting for my QEV to arrive so I haven't yet used one, nor do I own a launcher like this so I can't compare the two.

Commercial QEV's have a smaller porting. A 1/2" QEV has about 14-15 mm porting, yet I am using one for my 16 mm barrel.
Thus a homemade piston valve can have more flow. Not that a 1/2" QEV sucks, it is a very powerful valve, but a well made piston valve can outperform them. Especially with high muzzle velocities (a lot of flow required).

I have machined a 18mm porting for a 25mm (ID) barrel. That's the biggest porting possible for a ¾" Tee. The most I could get for this design.

That's the look of the BTB sawed-off Mark3. I do like that look, but polishing brass and copper, will turn dull again after touching it. Also, I do like the brutal steel look for this design more. It looks and feels a bit more powerful. Just my personal taste...
Well I am going to buy some thick heavy duty shrinking tube for the pistol grip and the resevoir.
About the paint, I will only paint the rear, and the front sight.

If you want a brutal look...you should saw off the barrel about 3 mm SHORTER than the reservoir.
At least..that's my trademark....
It looks very rugged.
Everything else is very.." me" ..you even understood the reason for the double T design..so you might get what I mean.
" Brutal " is the essence of what I was after the first time I built one.
Although I love the sights...a true sawed-off shouldn't have any.
Not that I could resist those beauties myself!

What he said. Anyways i like the rugged look it reminds me of a certain members high pressure sawn off...lol. Also might i suggest a shotgun load of 4.5 mm bbs? If some 6mm bbs can do that amount of damage imagine what smaller harder bbs would do
One more thing, I would imagine that this beast is loud and has a bit of recoil. Have you thought about a muzzle brake or a silencer? Because not only would it please her but it would look like the big bad wolf on steroids!

I didn't sawed off the barrel that much, becouse it would lost a lot of power. I have chosen for the looks of a compact and powerful design.

No. Becouse I like the loud bang
Another reason is, the silencer or muzzle brake will make the gun longer. That are the main reasons I don't want to have that on my gun. Thanks though

The coaxial I made (currently curing, will test it this afternoon at low pressure and if eveything works tomorrow at 800 psi) has a 2 foot barrel, much as I love the sawn off look I couldn't abide by the power loss and inefficiency, not to mention noise. Who knows, if it (works!) has power to spare, I might chop it down a bit, and have an underbarrel cylinder as a suppressor to go with the pump action look

All in all a good gun but i see some flaw's like about the t Joint you say it is just for decoration. I think that if a gun working and functional than it is beautiful even though it works i would recommend not altering it for decoration unless nessary like if you wanted a handle and you put the t-joint there for that pourpous than it is good But for a first gun it is exceptional.
