Guys, guys... calm down. (females, you are not excepted)
As you've seen here, rambo, many Americans have a strong emotional attatchment to the delusion that all humans are absolutly the same (or at least compleatly equal - positives being ofset by negitives) in every way which matters in 'modern civilized life'.
(I say "modern civilized life", because most are happy pointing out that women arn't as athletic, but often say "oh, that dosn't matter anymore... we don't have to (physical activity)."
Which is debatable anyways.)
Which, obviously, they arn't.
For starters, it should be obvious that because the levels of hormones and nerotransmiters are different between the sexes, they'll have different thoughts and physical attributes.
And there is no requirment that in a certain feild - or, indeed, life in general - that they should equal out. That's just wishful thinking.
Oh, the horrors: to think that someone's thought procces is affected by their gender! For some reason, people are just fine thinking that retards are inherently stupid, but if someone suggests that girls are (say) not as good at understanding concepts... well, you saw what happened.
Now, I don't really wish to sound like I think women are inferior in all aspects.
I'm short on examples both ways, but in their favor, I'v heard that women are really good at locksmithing due to their (on average) high manual dexterity and patience... which would probably mean they'd be good at (example) fiddling with stuff.
Anyway, I havn't put much effort into learning about said differences (and if I ascribed abilities incorrectly, feel free to correct me. Remember that individual exceptions don't mean anything.) because I personaly think most people are stupid and rather poor at understanding concepts, and also because they are just averages anyway.

Somehow most of the women I know absolutely lack any kind of manual dexterity and especially patience
Ok, 'nuff offtopic then.

Kinda ironic you used it, for me anyway.

Oh, boy, this has gotten off subject.
Anyway, going by memory...
Jrrdw, for about a week... maybe .5 years ago... I had a passing interest in locksmithing. During said week I happened to spend a couple hours lurking on a 'smithing forum, came across a thread on female locksmiths (I think it was asking why there where so few) and a few different people mentioned that women - mostly their wives, it seemed - where very good at it, with very little practice. One of them offered the therory that it was for the reasons mentioned in my previous post...
Most of the involved females also lost interest in it quick quickly, which probably explains why you've never met any.

Men are from Mars, Woman are from Venos. I think i spelled that last planet rite, anyway thats a good point blb. As for teaching lock picking NO! Sorry guys, 1st there are strick laws about carrying such devices! Don't wan't to go to jail and have some kind of theft related record for the rest of your life. Makes the job hunt real hard, nobody wan'ts to hire anybody remotely related to a thief, i know i wouldn't hire anybody with a record remotely related to any kind of thief related record!!! NOBODY LIKES A THIEF!!! BELEAVE THAT HOLE HARTEDLY!!! If the police catch you carrying any kind of consitered B AND E tool, they can charge you with any localized recently called in B and E. For those that don't know, B and E = Breaking and Entering. Tools for any kind of locksmithing are considered B and E tools if your not a bonifide locksmith!!! So don't carry any kind of lockpick/slimjim/or any type of mutible key sets that have unusally the same cuts, considered change keys! Trust me on this i have spent a lot of money and time learning this stuff and is allways ongoing!
I would think we all wasted enough space off the subject of How old are you?
