I'm not going to put an integral supressor on it! If I turn the last 20cm of the barrel into a supressor i'll lose about 100 joules.
Instead I'm going to sleeve the barrel, and put a threaded piece on the end of the barrel so I can use a threaded supressor.

You won't lose that much, drilling a few holes in the barrel isn't the equivalent of chopping it off.

if you're going to sleeve the barrel anyway, at least drill some small (3-5mm dia) holes in the last 5cm of barrel or so.

Will do!
Taking away the insanely loud muzzle crack would be nice..
I did one shot in my backyard, I could hear a very long echo and some dogs freaking out

The joys of hybrids :D
It wouldn't be the same without that deep and "round" 'POOM + echos' now would it?
Their power can be a little frightening aswell...
Nice build ^^

I like the sound very much, but I have to pay attention to my parents and neigbours... Actually i'm surprised they let me shoot this thing in the garage

The only things i'm afraid of are blowouts of the barrel or one of the plugs, or ricochets :D

Neighbours huh,

After "pnuschnikov" the entire town stopped talking to me..

I don't know why... :D

Can't you cover the entire thing by a steel tube with some endcaps...
This could act like a suppressor at the same time.
( with only the muzzle and ignition switch sticking out....)
Both reducing sound and protecting you from accidental blowout...

kan toch?!?
:D

Of twee stalen strippen over de uiteinden en draadeinden langs de zijkanten.
Dan kun je de boel mooi "opsluiten"

Klapt ie niet uit elkaar..

Changing burst disks won't be easy that way :D

Luckily I have quite tolerant neighbours.. They'll knock at my door if I make too much noise..

I've put together a grip for this thing;

Image

It doesn't look very good now, but I think it'll do the job.
I have to hide some cables, put filler on it, sand it, and give it a layer of flat black paint.

A thing that crossed my mind is giving it a "rat-look", certainly easier to make

ohh come on it looks pretty good... but why a pistol ? a carabine or rifle would be more suitable

Much easier to take apart :)
I'll make a detachable shoulder stock for it.

A rifle would certainly look better, but it just isn't as compact.
Now it fits in my guitar bag very well. I took it with me to school, and the teachers started to call me "al capone"

Disagree!
you can see the cables, not everything fits perfectly... I'm not happy with it yet :D

If you hide the wires it will look good on it's own!

But If you feel like finishing it up 100% I say go for it.

Epoxied the chamber onto the grip today!

It works flawlessly, except for the shock I got when I touched the valve and chamber on the same time when firing

I fired it 3 times today, when I wanted to make a video my mother freaked out because of the loud bangs :D
When she isn't home i'll get some footage...

I'll clean it up when I feel like it, the tape on the back will be removed. It's there to keep the wire in place while the epoxy cures.

:D :D

I fired it without a barrel
Can't get enough of the shockwave I feel when it ignites, shame my parents don't like it quite as much...

I just see this has more replies than the TBMA-230 V2.0...
It doesn't deserve that much attention

In that case, I don't blame your parents :)
