Actually, now that I have machine tools to go with my SCUBA tank, a "proper" HPA (in the 200-300 bar operating range) launcher is long overdue... so many projects, so little time!
How about simply upscaling your monsoon?
Going 9-ish mm would probably up the fun quite a bit.

Fun, well... haven't shot the Monsoon on a proper range literally in over a year, and that's licensed. I simply don't have the space to enjoy such a device. Pistol-like devices on the other hand, something that can be shot across a room, that's more up my street ;)
