popping small volumes at a high ROF, I don“t know how well it would work. Lots of dead space if you're just pulsing air.

I have an old airsoft gun ak that the mag still connects but its only 30round and would you guys say gravity is good enough?

Its all right ... A little full metal gearbox ak and pretty heavy from the metal and plastic that is wood looking and it cost me 140 or somethin ... 350 fps with .20 and was pretty fast fireing

No modifications needed unless you want to reinforce the piston with a metal washer or something like that. But you should be fine without that. All you need to add is a pilot valve.
