Why? I'm not sure how big your cannon is, but this seems a little paranoid. Even 6" SCH 40 is rated to 180 psi. The pressure on PVC is a working pressure, so it can withstand that all the time, even tho it only has to hold it once in a while. Not to mention the fact that there is already a factor of safety of at least 3 or 4 above the rating on the pipe. Its a shame your afraid to use the extra power.
