tigger....It's a red dot. I like them on pistols...and it's MY pistol.

Barrel and receiver were done with a mix consisting of 2 oz 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 tsp white vinegar and sufficient sea salt to make a saturated solution at room temp.

Barrel is 4140, receiver is 1018 the home brewed solution worked fine on them. The pressure tube is 4130 and would not get past a dark grey even after 20 cycles...used Laurel Mountain barrel brown for 3 rust/boil/card cycles and it went black.

In my current (can I say temporary ) surroundings, you need a police license to purchase an airsoft "weapon" as it is legally considered a firearm, and it needs to be stamped with an individual serial number, which is patently ridiculous.

Yep.
2 and a half. might be a little loose though. but some duct tape wrapped around the can would help.

Jessie, invest in a caliper, then you can get your own measurements.
You did not specify which SDR pipe.

I assume SDR21 with a nominal bore diameter of 2.581" is SDR 21 2 1/2". Dewey even listed the diameter of a soda can for you so you could (we all hoped) judge whether it would fit inside one of the two types of pipe he listed.

This is jsefcik were talking about here.... Jesse if a soda can is 2.6 inches will it fit inside a pipe that is 2.581 inches???? Probably not..... So you need sdr 26 2 1/2 inch class 160 pvc pipe....... @ Mr. C , your approaching 10000 posts. For your 10000th post, make it a good one....

I remember when I first joined and some members/moderators used to get annoyed that my "posts per day" was so high, they would've freaked if JSR was a member back then

I'm surprised my 'posts per day' is still over four considering I would probably only average 1-2 posts a day over the last couple of years though I can't find any of my old posts where I state posting milestones.

I did find this though:
December 2007: Total posts: 132,975 within 10,002 topics
October 2008: Total posts: 200,000
April 2013: Total posts: 348,125 within 21,487 topics

Those don't include deleted posts either, which number over 11,000 back in '08. I think now it's about 16,000.

Also, JSR reached 6,000 posts back in June 2008.

hehe I'm on 9.71 posts per day I spend far too much time on this forum when I should be making swarf!
