Seriously? The motors in these H2's are the same that go into the heavy duty trucks, and the 6.0L Vortec is renown for being very thirsty. The two guys I know who have them (still) say they average about 11MPG on typical suburban roads, 15 with 40% highway.

Ah, but I pay more than double per liter for fuel.

Doug Stanhope makes the point here.

So this isn't for where you currently are. Well that's fair; I didn't take that into consideration.

Hmmm.. methinks the Ram is a better idea though, I think a proper pickup is more suited to the sort of lifestyle I want.

Not a Ram fan, but it's more of a styling thing than say reliability issues. :)

Does that mean that instead of just crashing into the ground you'll be smashing into other planes first too :D

I am actually doing quite well now that I fixed all the things that were wrong in my supposedly RTF (ready to fly out of the box) plane.

Long story short cg was way off. If it was only in yaw plane I could handle it while flying but it was in roll plane as well, which was much more difficult to notice and fix (lots of hot glue used on the left wing... which also made it difficult to install carbon tube for reinforcement so I had to force it into it... as a result the tube had broken but it took me a while to notice that something was wrong).

Anyway... add some wind to equation and you're f###

[/boring stuff]
It's got 9channels! Plus it's got like tons of settings, mixes and stuff. Already turned ailerons into flapperons :D

it seems quite a few are getting into rc stuff atm.

after wiping out flying my fpv aircraft (HK EPP FPV) it thought that i should go back to basics and learn to fly. Got my self a cub J3 HobbyKing and found that the model itself poorly designed CG as well as lack of Dihedral and throw that all together with a coarse pitch prop supplied and you side-slip out of the air.

I should just stick to the ground with my home built 1.2m army tank

My brother's truck for example:

Bixler isn't a bad plane at all - speaking in terms of design but the particular model I got was very poorly assembled. Guess I should have listened to all the people advising me to get a KIT version and assemble everything myself

Personally....I like the Dodge trucks. I drove into town a few weeks ago to purchase one. I woke up the next day and found that not only did I not purchase one, but I was told that a total stranger had given me $50,000 Angioplasty! It sounds like an elegant Italian sports car. I hope it's a convertible!
