The trick to solid relationships is to land yourself with a girl who's essentially a man with an inverted cock. (inside out rooster?). Mine agrees that we don't touch each other's finances, enjoys shooting, powerful car and building stuff, not overly interested in children, but still knows when to be girly in the right ways. If she didn't smoke chick cigarettes and had a haircut, she'd be a bloke.

Tl;Dr, there is worthwhile women out there, but they aren't common. Mine fell right in my lap, some of you may have to look.

Nice jeep too bro

Zeus, you speak truth. I went the opposite route; though my woman's okay with separate finances for our own personal use, and we use her account for joint purchases and such. But we do have a kid which although I wasn't thrilled about having, I wouldn't ever look back.

Sounds like you got a good girl though - I wish my woman was more interested in my hobbies. She only does some because she knows I like it. But hey, I'll take what I can get. :)

I've recently been giving my lady friend generous lessons on our hobby against her will; my hope and intent is that by forcing the knowledge upon her she will grow fonder of my interests :D

That's a dangerous route you're traveling; tread lightly :)

If you're good at it, feign some interest into some things she likes. It does help some.

Not a bad idea, she always asks me about clothes but it would be hard to fake interest in that

blutooth module ~ 10-15$
attiny2323 (instead of arduino) ~ 3$
other parts ~5$

plus all of it could fit on a perfboard 5X8 cm in size, but I was too lazy to make one myself :D

This is a real victory for me :)

Image

124 layers, 1% carbonsteel and 15n20. Still needs one fold to get 248 layers, and then ill forge it into a bladeshape

Looks cool! How big is the blade going to be?

Sleak puukko blade, propably 80-90mm long and 17-23mm wide at the startpoint, so something quite small and usefull. Thinking of birchbarn handle with bronze bolsters, nothing too "HiFi" as the blade is pretty epic :D
