they are very nice but too bulky for Thorjack! I made a sliding part of the canon today.
The muzzle brake can be unscrewed and can lengthen the barrel of 50cm.

I made the barrel of Thorjack, it is sliding to allow loading, a handle to move it.
The beginning of the barrel has been consolidated by stacking steel tube + copper tube.
The barrel is 100cm but thanks to thread it can be extended, I plan to 50cm in order to gain more power at Mix30 in 400J.

And for switches that one you linked to is a ripoff. Here's the switch and covers at Sparkfun (rated only to 4A though, instead of the 15 of the one on ebay)
