Actually, I feel better than ever. I was fortunate in that the Cardiologist in the E.R. that day is a close friend of mine. Upon Hospital check-out he explained that the body requires 72 hours +/- to kick the
physical addiction to nicotine, but the mental addiction is forever. He knew that I'd been trying for years to kick cigs, so he helped me out. He decided to keep me unconscious in the hospital for three extra days & nights so I would sleep through the physical withdrawals. IT WORKED! I haven't had the slightest urge for a cig!
I certainly wish you success with quitting, but I know how difficult it can be.

I don't expletives believe it.
The White House has admitted it has no "irrefutable" evidence of Mr Assad's involvement in the August attack, but said a "strong common-sense test irrespective of the intelligence" suggested his government was responsible.
"We've seen the video proof of the outcome of those attacks," White House Chief of Staff Dennis McDonough said on Sunday.
"Now do we have a picture or do we have irrefutable beyond-a-reasonable-doubt evidence? This is not a court of law and intelligence does not work that way."
Sorry WHAT?!?!
This is what I heard:
"I am not able to appeal to the logical part of your brain with facts, therefore I am reduced to appeal to your emotions, and I am not even going to try and hide this approach."
UK Foreign Secretary William Hague cautioned against believing anything from President Assad's interview.
"We mustn't fall into the trap of attaching too much credibility to the words of a leader - President Assad - who has presided over so many war crimes and crimes against humanity," Mr Hague said.
That's a bit rich, in that statement you could replace Assad's name with any number of world leaders, including Obama's.

It has always been that way so... no surprises
The region is of great importance to both China & Russia as well as the USA & Isreal. It all seems low key at the moment, but there is too much at stake. It would be foolish of China and Russia to let them seize the region.
I don't know about you, but I actually considered stockpiling some food for WWIII

Finally got a new computer after a year of not having one. Glad to see not much has changed and SF is more or less the same way it was when I left it. It's very difficult for me to get back into spudding at this point, ive been able to satisfy my urge to launch things with real firearms now and college and work take up most of my time.
On the bright side, the house we just moved into has a small workshop, and I have a belt grinder and possibly a lathe coming in, so we'll see how that goes. I may just end up making small little cannons and little steam engines.
That being said, anyone care to update me on any breakthroughs in the world of spudding?

Judas John McCain never met a country he didn't want to bomb. Better stockpile some potassium iodide too.

The fact that Iran is being mentioned openly makes it clear that this isn't about those poor children who were gassed.

Maybe you could buy a threaded nipple and cut the ends off.
That is too on-topic of a question!
