How long would it take? It's pretty standard, I can't imagine it would take too long right?

To set up a lathe? Depends on what the last job was. Might have to change the bit and or all the settings...Depends on others things like type of gear box, how many jobs ahead of you.
It best to use a pipe threader, all ready set up for that work. Easy adjustments etc...

Evening all
Made some changes to the CNC router that might be of interest to those on DIY machining paths.

I'm looking to get a muzzle adaptor machined for my crosman 2240, it basically needs to be a 5/8" diameter adapter with a 7/16" hole on one end with a small set screw and a 1/8" NPT female port on the other. I was wondering if any US machinist could do this for cheap with any scrap metal or plastic they have around the shop. I can post I diagram, but it's pretty simple and I'm looking for a price quote first.

Shipping will only be $150 to the US! It cost a few extra bucks to get the submarine to surface...

I'm in Texas, so I'd assume shipping rates from wherever you live (assuming europe area) may be pretty high, any estimate on postage for such a small item internationally?

It definitely helps to have the valve, that way the piston can be custom fit. What do you want it made from?
