No I'm talking about when you randomly set the camera down, try to avoid things like that especially when the rest of your video is nicely edited, I get impatient when I watch a video and the guy just sets the camera down.

Oh that!
Did you notice the cut (didn't bother with colour correction/shadow correction so it's noticeable)? I set it down, picked up some ammo, proceeded to drop the ammo, picked up new ammo and loaded that. Took like 20 seconds, so I cut out the first part and you can hardly notice.
But yeah, like I said before, at that point last night I didn't give a fĂșck and I wasn't going to try juggle a camera, ammo and airgun while trying to load it and have the camera showing me load it
The shot only lasts about 7 seconds with the first 3 of those seconds showing a hand grabbing ammo, I think YouTuber's are patient enough to sit through that assuming they didn't already skip to the action at 1:40 like I annotated.
I am able to film videos properly if in the right mood, I did win the Best Video Contest

You shot a pineapple, whoopee.
Just sayin', you're trying (too hard, I might add

) to put together a professional looking channel, so try to keep it... Pure I guess.

Well I'm not aiming for the Slow-Mo Guys kind of professionalism but a simple intro that a channel with 400,000 subscribers would use is very easy to make. Of course, you can do what someone like iraqveteran8888 does and just use basic Windows Movie Maker techniques but spending an hour to make an intro, for example, that can be used on all your videos gives the impression of a proper channel with a reasonably committed YouTuber even if the rest of the video is filmed averagely (like iraqveterean8888 (not that his videos suck, they're great, just basic and to the point).
Other simple things you can do to make videos look better than everyone else's when in fact they're not is uploading them at the correct aspect ratio to fill the YouTube player screen. Anyone can film in HD but a surprisingly amount of people don't bother/know how to upload a video that fills the screen, or they upload HD videos in .avi format.
Dammit, now you got me on a rant coz I just thought of another thing that annoys me; HD YouTube videos that haven't been colour corrected. HD cameras under $300 probably don't have a white balance and come out looking very blue and bleak. Reds and greens need to be upped, saturation boosted, gain boosted slightly, offset dropped a touch and that's just for basic colour correction. Unless using WMM, most people should be able to do that much as a minimum.
Oh and videos where they film a gun or explosion or similar and leave like 12 seconds of still frame before the action occurs.
I was tempted to use my brother's 600D as a second camera for this video but I can't afford the extra file size. This video was 700mb as it is, on my broadband plan I can't use more than 1000mb a day if I want to stay under the limit (I share a 60gb plan with three other people).
If the channel gets any bigger and people want more explanatory videos, I'll start making those but in the mean time I'm keeping the "
this is my airgun, this is the blowgun yada yada, I fill through this quick connect fitting here yada yada, the piston is made from yada yada" to a minimum and instead focusing on uploading a more consistent stream of "here's the cannon, now let's blow sh|t up"
It may seem like I'm trying hard but it doesn't take much time for me to crank out a video like this and I'd much rather upload a video that's edited properly than the crap I used to upload where I cringe watching it. I'm keeping my speaking role to a minimum as well, the Kiwi accent might be a bit difficult to comprehend for my demographic

Damn, the EXF1 is much better quality than I expected, pity it costs so much.
Edit:
For-Parts Casio EX-F1.
If I lived in the US/Canada and that stayed at a reasonable price I'd buy it and try get it repaired or fix it myself

Something different that you might find useful.
This utility was written for me by a developer in 2004, I was using it to create time lapse sequences for bike training rides. We put a web cam on the dashboard of the car, went for a drive on the circuit capturing one frame per second then played it back at normal AVI rate. A good way to get an overview of 145km road racing in 5 minutes.
Anyway, I was cleaning out some old folders and rediscovered it. Hope someone finds a use for it.

I feel for you man
Same thing happened to my first digital camera I got years back for Christmas. I had it plugged into the TV, walked away to get something, the cord was too short and it got pulled out of my hand and hit the deck. The lens was out and it fell on it, rendering the camera completely useless.

Unscaved after so many hybrid shots, and you drop it.

Well to be completely honest, it was inside a small camera bag that was inside a backpack that I chucked across the room at my friend to get his attention
Erich Hartmann died on my 2nd birthday, just thought I would mention that
I've been meaning to read The Blond Knight of Germany for some time.
