Possible use in ignition ??
Is it dependent on current ??

It makes sense, since each time the AC crosses zero the arc would have a chance to extinguish.

You would need a pretty beefy supply for doing that, though.

Just made a video on homemade compression fittings for use with fridge compressors. Been using this method almost from the very beginning so it has been like 6 years or so. Make sure it's tightened well.

Any suggestions how to make the videos better / easier to understand ?

Pull the camera back, it's to close to what you're filming. Would like to see that set up under working pressure. Looks good otherwise. :D

Have a diagram or something at the start which quickly gives the viewer an idea of what you're trying to do in the video. For example, a diagram of the brass fittings with rubber washers over the pipe in the middle. Just means you can focus more on what you're doing rather than figuring out what you're trying to do.

This isn't specific advice for you, I think it's good advice for anyone.

A relevant gem from Sickipedia:
I heard that the Mikhail Kalashnikov is to be buried in mud for a week, cleaned off, then put back to work

Merry Christmas spudfiles!
