I know exactly how it works. He based his design off of a modified sheridan valve. :D The problem with the design is that every 1000 shots(or intermittent failure) you have to replace the o-rings and seals. At least MY PGP it is that way.

Interesting, looks similar in principle to the way that many gas-blowback airsoft guns work.

I'll have to correct you on that, rifling was used for centuries with round lead balls before non-spherical projectiles were invented - if it didn't have an appreciable effect on accuracy, they wouldn't have bothered.

Haha fair enough, truthfully I had to leave for school in 5minutes and couldn't be screwed searching up to check, I had heard that it had no effect and it had little effect, so I was unsure and just did 50/50 :P

Though what is really the point? I could see it would be helpfull if it worked a kind of a hop-up system to keep the bullets parabola(sp?) as flat as possible over a certain distance.

Oh yeah it just came to me, I remembered watching/reading something about how sypherical objects curve in the air.

What do you think of the instructable? Enough info? I should post it here or at least link to it.

Hey, MrC's Instructable was one of the Instructables in their weekly newsletter of cool new projects. Good work, I think you have a pretty good shot at winning.
