iv got a prototype of mine put together and soon i should be ready to put the final together so count me in chaps

oh and that pistol is looking sweet so far chuck but i dig ur coax rifle 8)

Why not mount the blowgun directly to the sprinkler valve?

I wanted to make the air line go to the pistol grip and a fix the air blower as a trigger.

ahh now i see them. hmm pretty cool but when i get round to making it my styre scout/elite tactical style gun will be cooler.

I got my 177 cal. rifle up and shooting tonight but it's not shoting hard . I figure it around the 300 range FPS . I am wondering what went wrong I can't get it to shoot any harder. Some ideas please.

After my final school exams which end on the 5th of November, I'm gonna build an 8mm sniper gun, its a special design i haven't seen before so i thought i would get everyones input, so here it is. I didn't labeled anything because it's basically self explanatory, but if anyone has any questions/comments/ideas, i will be happy to respond.
NOTE: Diagram not in an accurate scale, but its roughly in the right proportions

nope can't see them and as for your .177 not shooting hard what pressure are you using it at? because pressure makes a huge difference, if you got another 50psi it would probably shoot alot harder. although the sprinkler valves are quite limiting because they are not rated very high (usually under 150psi), in my 6mm pellet gun i'm going to use a 1/2" qev at 250psi which gives a high flow, fast opening time, and a ton of power. with a .43g bb it should be doing 900fps with a muzzle energy of 10 foot pounds which is near the power of most commercial air rifles.

where might yo be getting this QEV?

I've been toying around with the idea of using a three way valve such as Sgort87 has on his blueflame III for his propane metering system.

What I am thinking, is to have the regulated air/co2 enter through the valve and pressurize a length of pipe that is capped off at the end. then when the lever on the valve is depressed, the inlet of the pressure source is closed, and the pressure in the length of pipe is released through the third port into the pipe which leads to the barrel.

i'm getting it from the uksgc shop which i you could order off because they do international shipping and i am assuming you are from the US, the only issue could be the thread which is BSP but i have heard that the US thread NTP fits BSP fine.

sealing the thread isn't a big deal, I've found, that if I need to join a pipe with another pipe of much smaller size, if I put a layer of epoxy around the smaller pipe, to roughly the size of the pipe it is going into and let it dry, and then apply a fresh layer that is more then necessary to finish filling the space. then press the smaller pipe with new reducer into larger pipe, and wrap in tape to keep the epoxy in place until it dries.

haven't had a leak yet!
