I put emty axe cans into my 1-1/2" barrel with some wadding around it and i also shoot hand balls in my 2" barell they fit nicely but they need a little wadding.

Nails with the head sawn off and with a unravelled tail of string taped on are amazing darts in fibreglass tent poles with a hollow 4mm core.

Very accurate and I can embed them halfway through a 1/2" plank at 160psi

The fibreglass barrel is attached to the rest of the cannon by embedding one end in a pipe section filled with hot melt glue. Doesn't budge.

try getting revenge with a dog doo slug. on a hot summer day take a dog doo put it in plastic wrap and fire it at the door of a past enemy. Hold your nose.

Do allot of poo in your barrel after a heavy night of mexican burritos and beer. Now sneak into the bushes and wait for a pedestrian to stroll by. Just before you plaster them with poo, yell out, "look out" their mouth will be open and their eyes will be sticking out like golf balls, now let er' rip. (Make sure you have an escape plan in place and you wear protective clothing in case of a messy richochet). Now run for your life at high speed yelling "there's a poo flinging maniac in the bushes".

hey do generic/ deer park bottles fit in 2.5" barrels? I measured and they should fit pretty well

It should work pretty well but i can't test it.(haven't got a 2.5" launcher.)
If you have a 1.5" cannon a good ammo is a small egg That has been frozen for a while ween it hits there is a mess when it thaws and starts to rot.

one idea that i have not tried and may work well and may be dangerous is spraying a tennis ball with aerosol deodorant and firing it from a combustion cannon, it would make a nice fireball. but I have no idea how well it would work even if it would work at all.

Well i don"t know if it work or not but i can tell you this much if you do happen to try it then it would end you up in jail if you got caught. Some law says something about a cannon is legal unless proven to be a letal weapon.(I THINK ) Like i said i'm not sure but sounds like fun.
