take the spring out you don't need it unless you wanna fill form your camber.
can you slide the piston around easily with your finger, also did you cut a equalization port even with cast hot glue/epoxy pistons you don't need one it wont be air tight, if you have on your piston close it or make a new piston with out one.

if it still don't wanna work try a bigger pilot valve, with a piston valve this big you should be able to pilot it with a blow gun though and grease the hell out of it

what do you mean by fill form chamber?

it means do you fill from the side of the piston where the barrel is, or where the blowgun is connected?

"Form" and "camber" are both valid words - the spell check won't know they're wrong. There's some things that only proof reading will fix.
