Is the bottom high enough to only just let the bb's roll under the elbow?
It should work without a spring really..

If all fails, put a semi sphere at the end of the ammo feed pipe and get rid of the elbow.
Just use it as a -controlled feed- cloud.

I had to do a lot of tinkering too...just try and see if the bb's are rolling under the elbow right..and smoothen their path if they don't..

It's serviceable the only thing epoxied in place is the barrel.

I think it's the tee-- the bbs can drop into a gap so I will have to rectify that.

Hopefully I can find time to do that this weekend and get some damage up here

Decided to start trying to get thing working reliably. Will have updates later, I don't think I like having the vortex elbow in a tee, as it's really hard to get it flat so BB's can go into the vortex reliably.

I think I may reconfigure it into a 1" pipe, so that way its much easier for BB's to feed in.
