If you make a hopper exactly like that, it will have some terrible jams.

Ok, so I received a paintball hopper from my friend (this is more focused to anyone with epoxy pouring skills) and I need to plug the bottom port that usually feeds paintballs to the gun. Any suggestions?

How big is the port first of all??

Glue a disk up in the feed hole and make sure it's airtight, then pour with the hopper upside down. Let it dry then you can drill the hole.

1/2 inch is small, so I agree with you guys. I thought it was going to be bigger than that. There I go thinking again,,,

Yep, exactly what I was thinking. It would still jam though :)

they always jam, a bigger feeding hole would solve the problem, (I hope  , for me a big hpper is a lot of problem, vortex is my solution :D )

I have been looking around and I can't seem to find what side do you fill a qev from?
My launcher would be a tank (about small fire extinguisher size) then a shrader to fill (don't know if this is in the right place), then the qev and the pilot at the back. sorry if this is a silly question!

Did you bough the qev? If you did, probably you have to fill it from the pilot side. If you made it, is it self close? If it's self close you can fill it from the chamber.

I bought it, if I'm piloting it with a ball valve though how can I fill it? Would it go: QEV, shrader, ball valve? (on the pilot side)

That sounds like a lot of pilot volume, but I don't see a better way. But you could take out the valve parte of the tyre valve, left just the shell, and put it this way: qev, ball valve, tyre valve

How do I fill it? Just through the tyre valve shell? I'm guessing the pilot volume is the amount of air released to pilot it

Yes you are right about the pilot volume. Fill it with the shell just like fill through a normal tyre valve
