In the photos, is the collar in the rear position when fired, or is it pushed forwards to fire?

The collar is shown in the unfired position, with the rear edge in line with the handle groove. It fires when the front edge of the collar is in line with the front edge of the handle.

ohhh i always thought you pulled to fire. I like the idea of pushing it more because it gets really hard to pull mine back @300 psi

that's why i like the leaver design i use at 400psi its just a little stiff but not like you struggle to open it.

Got hold of one of these recently, had a bit of fun with it launched from a high pressure 15mm calibre coaxial I had made.

Nothing special about it, it's basically a scaled up pen gun :)
