I'm going to try it out with a barrel tomorrow
If I let my dad shoot it he will love the noise!
at new year's eve he's the first one to play with acetylene cannons...

got it to work again, ripped of the handle and put it inside a shooting box
No shrapnel embedded in my face if there are any ricochets
also got some nice ammo;

sharpened m5 taps
penetration at 10x mix, 12 mm barrel
didn't quite know what to expect
first 4 mm alu;
then the 11 mm side
and 7 mm steel plate;
Might have penetrated more if I used my 16 mm barel and a prober sabot, instead of coiled cardboard with a paper wad behind it
don't kill me JSR!

Didn´t read the full post, so sorry if it´s answered before: what mix were you using? From the damage I´d say above 10x.

Now I can´t wait to try out my at mix 20 and more

yeah, but the projectiles I used are also a factor
20x sounds awesome to me!
At work I spotted some parts wich could be turned into a 28x mix hybrid without too much alternations, if I get some help from a friendly welder
seen some stainless steel 1" unions, 10 mm wall thickness
