I agree with most people, the new spudfiles has tons of cool features like spellcheck, and tons of smileys, and chat and stuff, but i would like it if we had the option to have this look, but with darker colors. That would be great!

the new Emoticons are cool but I like the forum a bit darker the text doesn't stand out as well. i'm new to the forum but was on long enough to get used to the old format. but i guess change has to be enbraced.

i think you should darken the partition between the different posts (replies) (ex. where the name and post date is)

You know what? All i've done is piss and moan about what I dont like, here's the one and only thing I do like. Recent Topics, there's seven instead of five, Great job PCGUY.

Yes I agree with garrettee about the recent topics changed to 7 that is way better.

And for you that don't like the white layout, if you go the your profile link theres a box called "board style" If you change it to the black and blue one it will go back to being like it use to be. I don't like the white, I think its too bright and thats why spudfiles caught my attention when I first came on is how it was a dark color.

Sergeantspud2, you are the man. I wish I would have seen this days ago. This is great. PCGUY your 7.0 is cleaner and more sophsticated than the old version, but I'm glad to be back. I don't think I missed it, but, this should have been open information from the get go.

Well now that I have switched back and forth between the 2 layouts I like the layout of the old one better but I like the color of the newer beter then black. Make one in between. PLEASE... :sad5:

He told us that awhile back. I also liked the old style but when he made thw hite slightly less bright, I changed back,gave it a chance and I decided I could live with it and its growen on me.

I like the layout of the new one, but the coulours of the old one.......but I like the new colours too...........I'm so confused lol :withstupid:

Edit: Something else I like is that on the recent topics it states who made the last post. Can that be implemented to the old style, or do I have to be on 7.0?

7.0 but he could change it and the spellcheck to go on the old one but its a waste of time really, Just let this one grow on you.

P.S Thanks to 7.0 I didn't spell any words wrong.

I do not plan on back porting any upgrades to "6.0".
What I plan on trying to do whenever I get around to it is take the light colored theme, copy it, and make it dark and use similar colors as the old theme does. The light theme will remain default however.

Not tring to be difficult. But why is it a waste of time? It would make(from what I hear) a lot of Spudfiles users very happy. Me and alot of people the old style of the site. He wouldn't be giving in, just compromising.

Edit: I was in the process of posting when PCGUY made his post. Very good idea.
