Hmmm.. what's with the recent influx of non-spudgun related sprinkler valve queries?

I am using an orbit watermaster to trigger a piston valve and I'm using the solenoid to trigger the watermaster. My problem is that every time I fire the solenoid blows out of the housing. Not sure what to do about it.

I have to admit, this is a 1st problem / issue of this kind I've seen in all my time here at Spudfiles. Kudos for sticking with it!
For a quick and simple fix mod the sprinkler valve for pneumatic actuation. Blow gun is the way to go.

Well, I figured it out already. Not a pneumatic problem at all just a recoil and not having enough clearance to nearby objects problem. oops
