As far as I'm concerned, this is a news and current events thread, for notes and updates that don't need a thread of their own, and perhaps no big discussion.

Just because a thread has picked up nearly 50 pages doesn't mean it's time to kill it - consider, here we have one thread that takes the place of a good many that would have been forgotten within days.

That's why I come back to it if I've got a small comment, but nothing that needs a full thread. For example - my comment I'd turned 20. OK, not strictly spud related, but heck, I only turn 20 once. I could have made a thread in NSGRD, but one post here... fixed.

Not to say that it's off topic, but as it has no single topic, it can hold interesting, but non-essential information.

Also, 2500 posts.
:wav:
I won't be able to ever take Jack or Crowley with their rampant posting, but heck, I'm just a day or two from shifting Noname from the #5 poster slot!

See, that didn't need a new thread, but it gets to have a nice little home here. ;)

EDIT: Ooh, I get another blue star now...

Thats the exact reason why this thread was made Rag, well said.

ITWOST, i am going to draw a picture of a un-named person and shoot their feet then their legs, then their chest before finally blowing their head clean off. I will pretend that i am dirty Harry or Arnie, should be a blast :D

Well, the thing most people have forgotten is that due to many long centuries of being slightly out of sync with the year, they no longer line up with the dates they're supposed to.
Yeah that's what I was trying to say, I just worded it badly. :P ...
[/Argue](?)...
I've been thinking on this one... and perhaps ,when we (and the ancients looked) in the night sky the horoscope constellations appear the way the naked eye was meant to see them(?) (isotercal)(sp.?)

Silly but I've always wanted a scorpion tattoo on my stomach. (plus his tail is similar to a projectile) It's cool IMO so I must differ... 8)

Anyway ITWOST: I'll be gathering stuff for an idea so good I don't want to share it yet .

BTW: Rule Brittania! :P 8) 8) Later fellas!

I would say you're lucky, but I know that the warmer temps you enjoy come at the cost of it being damp all the time.

I HATE damp!

That's not even close to being accurate.

It's WET, not merely damp.

The weather "people" are telling us the best we can hope for in the coming week is -16C for a daytime high. That's through next saturday.

Looks like it'll still be monday.

WHICH monday, is now the question.

At least when it's this cold, it's DRY. :)

Edit:

I'm bored out of my freakin' mind!

A quick search through the junk drawer in the kitchen revealed some goodies.

5 minutes with some basic tools, and voila!

I think I'll be entertained for a while now. :D

Yes, it works.

How much do you guys like your sanity?

I ask because I'm wondering about the name SINAA (Pronounced "Sinner") for a cannon, which stands for SINAA Is Not An Acroynm.
Although of course, if it's going to drive you lot (more) insane, I'll have to scrap it.

I like the name. It reminds me of Wine (Wine Is Not an Emulator.) I love the self referential way of the first letter being arbitrary.

ITWOST:

I finally fixed El Bambino...... 400 PSI with that little thang is epically AWSOME. Also added sights. I really need to start posting cannons when I actually am finished with them...... Nothing is more satisfying than Hearing an ear splitting BLAM!, feeling your arm impacted by riddiculous recoil, and THEN watching your target explode into bits from the shotgun spread you just shot at it..... Its toooooo muuuuchhhh fun!

That and I killed JANET. I got a marble stuck in the barrel....... So I sawed it off. And now her sprinkler wont Seal...... And in my stupididy I cant actually get to the insides of the valve without breaking all the astetic additions..... Sighh.

That and I have 350 bucks....... And a new Blowgun. And some 3 Way vavles.... And a (shh) shell ejecting mechanism (shh). Oh, and a Paintball N2 tank and a regulator. Yall should be exited...... If all goes well.

I will be excited for this one. When are you going to post this mechanism? Or does the gun still has to be built around it..? :(

The gun has to be built around it. In fact, the Gun basically IS the ejector. It relies on spring force pushing the shell back against a flap that will allow the shell to pass unimpeded one way, and to be directed downwards/sideways when travelling the other way

If my idea doesnt work, I will stick with the trusty (yet complex) AR15 syle ejector.
