The comment was about smoking pot.
The marble only shatters if it hits something hard, like concrete. It eats plywood

I think this guy is referring to the "larger" (PVC) cannon pictured. The fact that it's the first cannon pictured in the topic doesn't help.
Wrong cannon, look at the other (small black) one.

some people just look at the very first picture and draw their conclusions.
I say those people's comments should be ignored.
Apperently he didn't even read the picture's comment.
Anyway,
the gun is dead at the moment..
Taking it apart to lube and fix stuff has taken it's toll.
The compression rings on the piston-housing got tighter every time, untill the piston got completely stuck in the end.
The fit is so tight I can't even get the piston out.
I'm currently collecting parts to a 2" version of this beast, wich will be able to take 40 bars.

( malleable iron fittings)
I will take the pressure up gradually to at most 30 bar, just to be safe.
The recoil is my biggest fear.
I've got lots of work to do, so I will most likely not fix the sawed-off any time soon.
time for the next level in "no nonsense guns"

a 2" sawn off? wow, that would be powerful. how long of a barrel are you thinking, and what diameter?
