Nonsense. Why do most prisons use liquid soap, then?


First person to mention anything about dropping the soap admits he/she is utterly homosexual.

Back to the knive subject, I bought one of those boxcutters/utility knives that frankrede posted. I'll start slipping that into work instead of the knife... it'll probably get me in less trouble.

Yeah lol it me btw, it sorta like an all together number of different things not a number of different things but the majority of that number are different things.... if you get it lol

Actually, I have probably a half dozen knives within arm's reach of me. I'm not really a collector though. I just have a thing for knives. If I find one I like, I'll go buy three or four of them just in case I lose 'em ('cause invariably I'll never be able to find that knife again).

wow thats alot of knives lol, i like the Arny style small knives, duh cant remeber what there called.....like belt knives i guess. Any one like making there own ? Or own a forge ?

Just thought I'd bump this thead to discuss some non-knife edged items.

I had some firewood to split today (got a few logs from work that were nice and dried out and burned well), so I went to look for our old splitting axe that I haven't used in a couple of years.

Needless to say, the edge was dull as hell, and rusted gone. So, I used an air-powered diamond-grit grinding bit to reshape the edge, then used the method described in the article above.

I was so happy... the edge could shave off my arm hair. 8) I proceeded to split logs all the way down with only a stroke apiece.

I'm also looking at getting a new knife. My Gerber Paraframe decided to break completely in half as a result of me trying to use it like a survival knife. I'm looking a a Kershaw Leek... any opinions?

Just a note: stay away from gerber paraframe knives! I had mine for maybe 6 months, and it under went very mild use. Last week I was messing around with some mates int he woods tipping a huuuge (but very dead and rotting) old tree. And as I was hacking away at the base the blade(witch was open all the way and locked) snapped closed, cutting 3/4ths the way across my nail from the side, and probably more than half of the tip of my finger. On closer examination the locking mechanism had worn some, and now closes simply from me applying a bit of force.
