Not at all, my 1/8" slide valve is always smooth as silk, and pilots the 1/4" QEV perfectly.

I'm quite impressed with the power too, h
andles an 8mm ID 1m barrel without a problem, and that's with a small chamber.

What I do find is that they get a bit "sticky" if left unused for some time, but once you move it once it goes back to being smooth.

Considering I got it last week, it hasn't had a chance to get sticky. But rubber tends to do that all the time.

I'm very impressed with the QEV too, almost as good as my diaphram valves

This one and many others on eBay ships worldwide:

eBay is the best place to get them cheap. Unfortunately this is not an item you would find stocked in most ironmongeries/hardware stores.

I really suck at this, so excuse me if i didnt read the guide fully, How does it work? I mean how could i setup it up? If you could tell me i would greatly thank it
And where did the air go on the video, to the can or just outside the QEV?
Thanks in advance

This should clear it up.

I updated the slide valve to show O-rings.
I had to "guesstimate" the locations and size! :)

That's a good guestimate, nice one :)

I'm trying to build the system with full auto pop off valve, but air leaks from the nipple. Instead of delrin, pvc I used because I do not have delrin (where can I buy it or find it?). Must have a small hole in the disk? Sorry for the mistakes of English. Haha I'm Brazilian and new in the forum

Show us some pictures :) I found that mine leaked without a rubber seal on the front of the piston, never bothered adding it though as it was just a proof of concept thing.

my QEV is a QE-01. I had to enlarge the hole to put the pop off valve. pvc used instead of delrin with a very soft spring. I tested with a old refrigerator compressor through who apparently does a lot of pressure. But leaked air in nipple. I will take pictures.

Lookie what the postman brought in :)

For those of you who think slide valves are not "trigger like" enough, I bought a couple of rather smart poppet style three way valves, each for under $10 posted from eBay.

Will give them a whirl and let you all know what they're like :)

Probably leak pass 200 psi, or even less, or not.
MAY contain plastic parts
(my experience).
