guess ill just stick to the plan, and do finetuning when the cannon is up and running.
My calculations are :
chamber: 5700ml x 0.042= 239.4ml
measuringpipe: 239.4ml at 3bar = 79.8ml
so im trying to make my new pipe as close to 80ml as possible
thnx alot for all your inputs

it really helps to get feedback for a first timer

I got this idea of using a old panasonic drill as handle for my cannon. I get a ok handle, and a rechargeable battery
Making room for the "trigger" micro switch
Blue Leds to indicate when the fan is running
Red Leds to indicate armed trigger
overall wiev of the handle, with the switches on the side for the ignitor and fan.
will come back with more soon

replaced the cheap regulator and gauges with kickass quality regulator, and oilfilled gauges, high-end accurate stuff. did a dry testfire today, and was rewarded with a loud sharp bang with almost no flames

... cant wait to get this babe finnished

Ok.. so here is the new gauges and regulator, works like a dream !!
Trigger grip mounted with safety switches, and rechargeable battery
Now I only need to get the brackets for the gas tank done, and the spud is more or less finished
Here im working on the brackets for the gas tank holder, old scool style, CNC version 0.1 beta

BTW : the things i post now... should they rather be in the showcase area ?
or is that just for "finished" spudguns ?
and or is it just irritating that i post progress at all ?
im just asking since im new here..

I think that's the "standard" attachment from Ultimate Spudgun.

Moonbogg, its the utimate spudgun attachment.. if it works, dont fix it:-)
i have done a more or less standard project, and copied other peeps working cannons for my first project, to get a understanding of how things work. guess ill start experimenting with my own sollutions on my next one

lol I wouldn't say that's standard its defiantly one on the best combustions on the files, especially for a first. Great work!
