Hang on rl93, I want to argue about evolution too!!!!

I personally don't believe in a god or any other 'higher power', but I accept that my opinion could be wrong. What I don't understand is that why some people think that it is either god or evolution.

What if evolution happend, but a god had a part in it too???

Just saying that we evolved from less advanced life forms isn't saying that religion is a pile of crap, its just interpreting what happened differently.

Ive heard that opinion before but it is just my personal beliefs that there is a god that created earth and people and i believe in a heaven and a hell.

But about evolution i just dont see how people could study somthing as perfect as the human reproductive system and how everything just works perfectly together to bring new life to the world and say it was an accident.

Insomniac,I respect that you accept that you could be wrong most people dont.

There is no proof either way, just evidence. I base my beliefs on what I have more evidence for, but without proof it's just an educated guess really.

there is no proof that our sandwiches reproduce... therefore we must assume there is a possibilty that they do

Is there proof that there is god/a god....no,none whats so ever

Its not an accident it you adapt to the enviroment,we may not of had thumbs thousands of years ago but now we do,animals like lizards can loose their tail when they wont to and grow it back...they adapted to that,their previous species would of been different, we are adapting now in say year 4000 we may have 5 fingers(not incl thumb). If there was one veriable in the creation of earth and its organisms that didn't happen we may only have 1 arm. How can evolution be wrong,there is no god,is there proof? no, how did god 'create' dinosaurs but then kill them all so none exist today or even any animals similar to them. Did 'God' just create earth thousands of years ago,got bored killed all the dino's, created man and let man live for a few thousand years to record history,go through the middle ages and what not up till today.

Did we all used to be apes so God thought one day...theyre a bit too short and too hairy lets make them look more.....human? Thats evolution we evolved from apes and there fossils to prove it, I see no fossils of God, and there was life before Jesus Christ so explain that.
