school projects
I won't have time to make something for myself this school year
In the summer I'm going to search for some nice seamless steel pipes, so I can put together a hybrid next year. If I can find the right materials, I also want to build a 3" QDV.
That pistol is incredible! I wonder what the creators of such a thing would be able to create with modern machines.

IMO, it should have also functioned as a gun. Lure and gun all in onejackssmirkingrevenge wrote:*gasp*Labtecpower wrote:This is my workspace.
there are 10 other hand lathes, and one CNC lathe.
We also have about 10 mills, but I rarely use them.
Why then are you not churning out masterpieces like this?

Those are awesome.
What have I done today? Separated the DNA from my cheek cells with salt water, detergent and ethanol because it beats studying for my exams and I'm getting a little excited about my microscope on the way from America
If you're wondering what it looks like, it's quite similar to another bodily fluid

Have you ordered the tiny tweezers in order to be able to generate the said bodily fluidMrCrowley wrote: I'm getting a little excited about my microscope on the way from America

I've separated DNA before... if you want an amazing amount, try it with fruit. I think fruit cells have three or four full copies of their DNA in the nucleus or something.

Thought I'd just use the barrel of the pengun you sent mejackssmirkingrevenge wrote: Have you ordered the tiny tweezers in order to be able to generate the said bodily fluid
@saefroch,
Yeah I thought about using some fruit since I'm only getting a couple of strands about 1cm in length from my mouth solution. Once the 'scope gets here, I'll see if DNA are even worth looking at, if they are I extract some fruit DNA since I'm not a fan of salt-water mouthwash

How is it by the way, I hope you're not taking it to bars and using it to tranquilise ladies.
Take care of it, future historians will know it as "The last of the pre-lathe pen guns"

The cops might know it as "Crown vs. MrCrowley: unlawful tranquillizing of a female at a liquor establishment; evidence item: BA-36"
Edit:
And it's not like I would sell it, then it'd be known as "Crown vs. MrCrowley: distribution of sex paraphernalia to a minor; evidence item: CW-03"
