It was just a small thing that got blown out of proportion.

Fired the railgun. It SUCKED. the aluminum block bounced of of cardboard. Turns out the cable's ripping apart, and the bus bar's repulsive forces was enough to make the contact bank. There was deep blast holes where the aluminum bus bars vaporized.

I think that's enough asking what happened to DYI. He had some trouble and hasn't returned to the forums since. That's all you're going to find out until he returns to tell you himself.

No-one is going to tell you more than that, and not a lot of people know more anyway. Just to assure you though, his absence is not due to him having kicked the bucket, unless I have been fed total misinformation by a government mole*.

*Like a regular garden mole, but it wears a bowler hat, talks in an upper class accent and wonders how it's going to get re-elected next time round.

Oh yeah G-day twitch how you been mate!

Took me girl friend brother out on expadition with my spud gun and his that he resantly built. he has a 5 inch barrel on his combustion and GOD DAMN it was loud. but he could get past how far mine goes..

All in all fun was had and some spuds got slattered tennis balls went out of sight and some beer bottles broke.

Did some commission work today - built a cannon for a friend, some mulching and mowing.

The cannon was nothing special, just a piston valve small bore bolt action.

Edit: think I'll buy a wii game with the dough...thinking ssbb

Got my hybrid 95% done, never thought i'd get rouund to making one but I have

Just need a barrel and to fix a leak.

My latest hybrid is still in it's state from before.No barrel yet to be machined and it has the holes tapped for the air and fuel injection.

So DYI in narnia...Imagine the things he could be doing.

Also what happend to the one with no humor?Was it Boilingleadbath?He hasn't been around in ages.
